For the past year, a dedicated group called the Rooted & Free Implementation Committee has been meeting with our Co-Founders to discern God's call for Eden Invitation through these questions. The implementation of their recommendations will be an ongoing process of prayer and discernment, but three of the committee members– Kristen, Ana Laura, and Andrew– are here to give a closer look at what that process was like and some of the fruits!

Our first Hearth Group Coordinators were trained in the Summer of 2021. Now, in under two years since this launch, Eden Invitation has 9 established Hearth Groups meeting regularly across the United States! When we're on a journey, especially one with difficult terrain, it's important to have a guide! Each Eden Invitation Book Club is facilitated by a guide or two--community members, each one with their own unique journey here, who have stepped forward to help create spaces for others in the same boat.

Eden Invitation started our online presence with a simple little landing page and “An Invitation to the Longing Ones.” That blog post was, and still is, just that– an invitation. But when someone with an LGBT+ experience answers the invitation and travels all the way to our metaphorical door– our community contact page– who answers it?
