“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
To live in the tensions around faith, sexuality, and gender can be burdensome. But what is Christ’s invitation?
“Come to me.”
We follow a God who beckons us to Himself. Not only does God beckon us, but He Himself draws us. He offers His pierced hand, just as He invited Thomas who doubted Him to His opened side.
Come closer, Dear One.
